Wesley Employment Services Graduation Scheme

  • Wesley Employment Services (WES) is a non for profit organisation that assists people with either a disability and or a medical condition to find and maintain employment within the open labour market.

WES has been assisting people into employment for over 23years; recently we have developed a graduate scheme for students with disabilities at university.

We have spent time developing relationships with large comapnies, such as Westpac and Universities, in order to make the tranisition from studying to employment easier.

Students can enrol with our service on completion of their studies, where we will look at work experience options, professional resume development, etc, with an aim of setting up an interview for each graduate.

The graduate scheme has been set up as many people opt for further education when leaving school, most professions require some further education, and if we aim high, this will not only increase our chances of finding a job, it will also lead us towards the career of our choice.

Having a qualification is testimony of our commitment and motivation in today's competitive job market. Employers want to know how dedicated and self motivated their future employees are. So gaining that qualification is the perfect way to demonstrate our capabilities.

This is no different for people with disabilities, they to have the same career aspirations. Therefore the graduate scheme is just as, if not more important to students with disabilities, in order to assist them to become just as viable to an employer as other graduates.
